Google: The global service outage has been resolved, and the affected platforms involve Spotify, Discord, etc

According to Reuters, Alphabet’s Google said on Thursday local time that it had resolved the temporary global service disruption on its platform, which affected a number of services such as music streaming platform Spotify and instant messaging service provider Discord.

According to the company, “issues with Google Chat, Google Meet, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Cloud Search, Google Tasks, Google Voice have been resolved for all affected users.” “We will publish an analysis of this incident after completing our internal investigation.”
And the outage affects platforms that rely on the tech company’s cloud-hosted services and infrastructure, such as Spotify, Snapchat and Discord.
The outage began around 1:50 p.m. ET and around 2:32 p.m. ET with 14,729 reports of Google Cloud failures, according to the tracking website Downdetector.com. Whereas, Downdetector’s data is based on reports submitted by users. The outage may have affected more users
